This 3-weeks series is designed to teach you how to utilize your financial statements to better manage and understand your business operations, cash flow, and profitability. Focus includes: interpreting and understanding your financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) hands-on exercise and case study; identifying cash flow cycle and how it impacts your business; learning how to calculate and use financial ratios to troubleshoot fiscal dangers, and analyzing trends to improve business performance; using financial tools to make good business decisions for effective spending and break-even analysis; knowing how to think critically when looking at pricing and costs; and developing forecasts and budgetary tools and techniques to improve profit.

Conflict Resolution 1: 

Gain clarity about the 5 main sources of conflict. Identify patterns that emerge in your role based on these root causes of conflict. Learn specific communication techniques for minimizing conflict in these areas. Focus on productively resolving conflict while minimizing negative outcomes and maximizing positive outcomes.

Conflict Resolution 2:

Understand the strengths and limitations of each conflict resolution strategy. Identify your natural conflict style and think about the natural styles of your coworkers. Improve your conflict resolution skill set by applying the best strategy for the situation and people involved.

Conflict Resolution 3:

Understand and utilize the conflict dialog guidelines. Face conflicts with a focus on mutual understanding through discussion and action plan development for long-term resolution. Become educated on how to consistently demonstrate behaviors that minimize conflict in the workplace and identify how to facilitate productive difficult conversations. The three primary components of facilitating difficult conversations, eight defusing skills and six resolving skills will be shared and discussed.  

Conflict Resolution 4: 

Minimize conflict in the workplace by identifying challenging behaviors on your team and learning techniques on how to appropriately respond to those behaviors.  How to use fact-based communication to minimize emotional exchanges. Identify how various personality styles may be adding to increased conflict. Learn about your specific work style, various work style’s strengths and weaknesses and how to increase productivity when working with all styles.

In MS Power BI, topic areas including getting started with terms and navigating the Power BI interface (web and desktop), working with data through data source connection, creating reports and data modeling will be covered. The Microsoft Power BI collection of software, apps, and services helps analyze your organization’s data and uncover insights and trends. There is no prerequisite for this session a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is helpful at an intermediate level. NOTE: A working Microsoft Office 365 account is required and will be used in this training.

Dance the night away with your favorite traditional Latino dance music!  We will be featuring live DJs and live bands in the Silver Moccasin Ballroom starting at 8:00pm and ending at midnight on selected Saturday Nights. Admission is FREE, so put on your favorite dancing shoes, and come on down to Feather Falls Casino for a great night of music and dance! Must be 21.
