Mamma Mia!

“Now welcoming Donna and the Dynamos to the stage!”

Come dance! Come jive! Come have the time of your life at Inspire School of Arts & Sciences’ production of the hit musical, Mamma Mia!

Get ready for fun-filled shenanigans on the blue island of Kalokairi, Greece where the ‘90s come to life with an aging taverna, a dock extending from the stage, and so much more. Donna has raised Sophie on this Greek island for the last 20 years but now she’s ready to fly the nest. Sophie and her fiancé Sky are set to be married but Sophie wants her dad to walk her down the aisle….. too bad no one knows precisely who it is! And Donna has to deal with three of her past lovers randomly showing up for the first time since the ‘70s? There’s bound to be trouble! Be prepared for bell bottoms, wild parties, and a wacky storyline you don’t want to miss out on. This is performing arts education at its finest. Students design and drive every aspect, from building and painting set pieces to choreographing advanced dances like Gimme, Gimme, and parts of Money, Money, Money. Talented student performers and a live band take you back in time with the music of ABBA. What super troupers!

Mamma Mia! opens on February 24th. For one night and one night only, we are proud to present Disco Night with the Dynamos, an exclusive opening night disco dress-up event! Costumes will be judged in the “Disco Night Best Dress” competition.  Also offered will be backstage tours, a cast meet & greet, photo booth, and specialty drinks with treats catered by Roots & Blue Sugar Bake Shop.  Make sure to buy your tickets now before they run out!

Mamma Mia! is coming to the stage of the Paradise Performing Arts Center on February 24-25th and March 3-5th. Ticket prices include: general tickets for $16; premium for $20; Inspire alumni and other students for $13; Inspire students for $10; and children 13 and under for $8. Tickets and more information are available at inspirechico.org/events and the Inspire main office.

Mamma Mia, here we go again
My, my, how can you resist this?

Workplace Organization

Customers, employees and suppliers can tell a well-run organization without a narrated tour. The visual clues are everywhere. Establishing simple visual controls is one of the most important elements of becoming a Lean and Green Enterprise. 7S reduces the opportunities to make errors and help highlight, at an early stage, potential delays and disruptions and drives an organization to becoming green at the grassroots level.  7S is much more than “a place for everything and everything in its place.” 7S consists of seven principles to make people highly efficient, effective and greener in performing their work. This one-day session will provide the participants with the principles of 7S.

This training is designed to

Provide participants with an overview of 7S, how it can benefit an organization’s performance, an explanation of each category, how to get started, things to avoid, and tips for leadership.
