TWI Job Relations offered in Spanish

In our leadership course, we recognize that supervisors and managers often find that leading people is more challenging than expected. Whether you're new to a leadership role or looking to enhance your skills, our Job Relations (JR) course is designed to teach the essential aspects of leadership and positive employee interactions. Learn how to develop and maintain constructive relationships to prevent problems that hinder performance. JR lays the foundation for enhancing stability in your processes, fostering a team spirit and collaborative atmosphere. Elevate your leadership skills and create a workplace where collaboration thrives.

  • Job Relations emphasizes "Respect for People."  It trains and coaches supervisors on how to handle problems, how to prevent them from occurring, and it aids in developing a logical, common-sense approach to handling issues with a people-centric view. The program's core elements are proven to inspire consensus-building and individual problem-solving.
  • Job Relations teaches the foundations of positive employee relations. Developing and maintaining these good relationships prevents problems from arising and is paramount to earning loyalty and cooperation from others.
  • When problems arise, Job Relations teaches a proven method of getting the facts, weighing options, deciding, taking action, and checking results.
  • Benefits experienced from practicing Job Relations include increased productivity, improved attendance, better morale, and higher employee retention rates.

This model was first developed in the US during World War ll, and right after the end of the war, it was embraced and improved over several decades by the Japanese manufacturing industry. Today, it is taught around the world through the Training Within Industry (TWI) Institute, serving diverse sectors from manufacturing to agriculture, health care, food production, government, non-profit, and many more.

Our trainers are TWI Certified Trainers.

RELACIONES LABORALES

Dokken exploded out of the boiling hard rock/heavy metal scene in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. 1983’s “Breaking the Chains” with its catchy title track, set the stage for Dokken becoming the most dominant creative and commercial force in the world of Melodic Hard Rock for the following years. Such classic albums as “Tooth and Nail”, “Under Lock and Key” and “Back for the Attack” all became Multi-Platinum selling smashes and the live “Beast from the East” went gold in Europe and Japan. Songs like “Alone Again”, “Just Got Lucky”, “Into the Fire”, “In My Dreams”, “Unchain the Night”, “Dream Warriors”, “Burning like a Flame” and “Heaven Sent” are still nowadays regarded among the genre’s finest.

Winger is an American hard rock band from New York City. Their debut album, Winger, came out on Atlantic Record’s label in 1988 and achieved platinum status in the United States and gold in Japan and Canada. Winger stayed on the Billboard Top 200 chart for over 60 weeks, where it peaked at #21. It spawned such hits as “Seventeen” and “Headed for a Heartbreak”.

Seven, the band’s 7th studio album, was released on May 5, 2023 and entered at #21 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales.

What does it mean to be trauma-informed? Understanding the biology of traumatic and stressful life experiences helps us bring compassion and empathy to relate with others and ourselves more healthily. Let’s build together a trauma-informed and resiliency-focused workforce to improve relationships in the workplace and performance.

An ad for a "Chico Swing Band" concert in the park on Sunday, September 29th, from 2:00PM-4:00PM, featuring a photo of the band.

The Chico Swing Band is a 15 piece Big Band featuring the music of the 1940s, '50s and beyond. We recapture the great sounds of the swing era with old favorites, plus big bang arrangements of contemporary tunes

Founded in 2021, the Chico Swing Band brings together Northern California musicians with over 600 years (count 'em) of musical experience in large bands and small, marching bands, combos, small ensembles, and more. We started out as a "little big band," but quickly grew to a full-flavored swing band, including five saxes, three trumpets, three trombones, bass, guitar, keyboard and drums.

Feather River Recreation and Park District, CalFresh, and Butte County Public Health invite you to attend the Riverbend Half-Mile Fitness Trail Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the new QR Code Upgrades!

QR codes are placed on each piece of equipment along the Fitness Trail. This allows park users to easily access instructional videos featuring local professional trainers demonstrating the correct usage of each station by scanning the QR code with their mobile devices.

Together with CalFresh Healthy Living, we are creating no-cost, high-quality exercise opportunities to support residents in maintaining an active lifestyle without the financial barriers of gym memberships and professional training.

Parks like Riverbend play a vital role in community wellness.  Having these safe, open spaces with walkable paths is important because they help get people active and are open to everyone.

Date: Sunday, September 29th, 3:00pm
Location: Amphitheater, Riverbend Park, 50 Montgomery Street
