Event Description

Feather Fiesta Days Vendor Information Oroville’s Annual Hometown Celebration

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Feather Fiesta Days! Please read the following information carefully before completing your registration.

 


Vendor Requirements & Instructions

1. Required Permits & Paperwork

Depending on your vendor type, you must obtain the following:

  • All Vendors (Craft, Commercial, & Food): Must submit the Feather Fiesta Days Vendor Application and pay the required fee.

  • Craft & Commercial Vendors: Need a City of Oroville Business License and a California Seller’s Permit if selling tangible goods.

  • Food Vendors: In addition to the above, food vendors must obtain a Health Permit from Butte County Environmental Health Division and comply with all food safety regulations.

2. Event Policies & Guidelines

Payments & Application Approval

  • Payments must be made in advance to secure your vendor space.

  • Vendors will receive a confirmation email upon approval of their application.

Setup & Event Hours

  • Setup begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Early breakdown is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension from future events.

  • After unloading, all vehicles must be moved to the designated vendor parking area.

Rain or Shine Policy

Feather Fiesta Days will take place regardless of weather conditions. Vendors should prepare accordingly and are encouraged to bring sandbags or weights to secure tents in case of wind. Vendor fees are non-refundable, except in cases of event cancellation by the Oroville Economic Alliance.

Booth Space & Requirements

  • Each vendor booth space is 10’ x 10’.

  • Vendors requiring additional space must select multiple booth spaces during the online booth registration process.

  • The cost of each booth space can be viewed by hovering over the space on the online booth map during registration.

  • You will also be able to view the descriptions of neighboring booths, allowing you to avoid selecting a space next to a vendor offering similar items (e.g., two crochet vendors).

  • Vendors must provide their own canopy, tables, and chairs.

  • If you plan to use a generator, it must be a quiet generator that does not emit smoke. We reserve the right to move your booth location or deny participation without refund if you arrive with a generator that does not meet these requirements.

Discount Code for Non-Profit Run or Informational Booths

  • Non-profit organizations or vendors only handing out information (not selling goods or services) may use the discount code: FFDINFO during registration.

  • This code will apply a 50% discount to eligible booths.

  • Vendors who use this discount code but do not meet the criteria may be disqualified from participating in future events.

Insurance Requirement

  • All vendors must list the Oroville Economic Alliance as additional insured on their liability insurance policy. Proof of insurance must be submitted before the event.

Alcohol Policy

  • Alcoholic beverages must remain within the designated Food Court/Beer Garden area.

  • Only pre-authorized vendors are permitted to sell alcohol. We are not accepting alcohol sales from any other vendors.

Special Requests

  • Please enter any special requests, questions, or concerns (e.g., electricity needs).

  • Note: This section is not for booth space requests. Booth spaces must be selected during the booth selection step.

Vendor Layout Adjustments

  • We reserve the right to make adjustments to the vendor layout due to unforeseen circumstances or in the interest of improving the event experience for all.

 


3. Vendor Agreement & Liability Waiver

By registering as a vendor, I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any liability, claims, loss, damage, costs, or expenses—including attorney’s fees—resulting from any injury to persons or damage to property arising from my participation in Feather Fiesta Days. I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Oroville Economic Alliance & Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any such claims, demands, or legal actions.
