Celebrate the season at the 2025 Parade of Lights — “Christmas at the Movies”!

This beloved Oroville tradition brings thousands of spectators to Historic Downtown Oroville for a night of lights, music, and community spirit. Floats, marching bands, classic cars, and walking groups will bring this year’s theme to life in a festive procession through downtown.

The Parade will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at approximately 8:00 PM. Check-in and lineup will open at 4:00 PM, with staging taking place along the levee (Arlin Rhine Drive) and in the upper Oroville Convention Center parking lot.

The Parade route accommodates approximately 2,520 total linear feet of entries, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Lineup placement is determined by parade flow, safety considerations, and order of approved entries.
