Purple Line Comedy Showcase

The fine folks of Purple Line Urban Winery and J&J Comedy are bringing you another fantastic night of laughs! Get your tickets fast as seating is limited.
This month our headliner is Sacramento comedy giant Robert Berry! His personal style and clever word play are what has made Robert a favorite among comics and fans alike.
Our feature, also from Sacramento, is none other than Sarah Dutcher. Sarah's tales of youthful naivete will keep you laughing. She is an absolute treat.
Our local comics from the Chico comedy scene are Sam Mallett, Eliza O. and new comic Conor Fitz.
Sam Mallett mixes dirty and dry like he is making a martini. The guy will have you giggling at the most inappropriate subjects and you will love every minute of it.
Eliza O. initially comes off as a damaged Disney princess, but there is a lot of depth behind her glowing smile. Her comedy can light up even the darkest spaces.
Conor Fitz is new to the comedy scene, but already a force to be reckoned with. Despite being new Conor is a comedy firecracker just waiting to go off.
J&J Comedy only brings the very best and this group of talented people is no exception.
Tickets are $20

SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature–through film. Wild & Scenic shares an urgent call to action, encouraging festival-goers to learn more about what they can do to save our threatened planet.

The festival goes On Tour to more than 180 events each year, partnering with groups who are working to protect and restore the important places in their communities. Globally, Wild & Scenic On Tour generates critical funds and increases awareness for grassroots environmental causes.

Pioneer Poker Run

Anyone is free to join our car show and charity event, but we’re focusing on the local Northern California region. Having said that, if you’re willing to make the journey out here, we’d love to have you!  What is a poker run, you ask?

Well, it’s a scenic cruise customized every year where participants pick up a playing card at designated checkpoints. These are standard playing cards that you can find in any deck. Your poker hand comes into play with how we determine the winner. It’s not about who arrives at the finish line first, you see. Rather, whoever has the best five-card poker hand!
