The Oroville Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is excited to invite the public to their Women's History Month Tea/Luncheon fundraiser to support Tech Trek--Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) summer camp at UC Davis, for Middle School girls.
The event will be Saturday, March 14, 11:30, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2350 Foothill Blvd. in Oroville. Tickets are $25.
The speaker is Alise Kubecki, an award-winning schoolteacher, who addresses Human Rights advocacy, highlighted against virtue signaling . She raises the question: How do we help one another live up to our promise in an unprecedented time?
The luncheon menu is a grand array of salads, scones with butter and jam, finely brewed tea, and dessert.
We will honor our Tech Trek girls and share a new Tech Trek video. We will also have a table of donation prizes!
