Event Description
All are invited to Hometown Christmas at the Yuba Feather Museum in Forbestown, CA, just 30 minutes up the hill from Oroville, and one hour’s drive from Grass Valley. Mark your calendars for November 30th, from 11-7p.m. Come and be transported back in time to the days of the Gold Rush. Stroll through Gold Trader Flat, beneath twinkling holiday lights while strolling minstrels and carolers entertain you. Experience life-size period buildings, such as the old schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, miner’s cabin, livery barn, and pioneer homestead. Pet a selection of farm animals, wander through an array of artisans displaying and selling their wares. Enjoy a craft activity- for all ages. Grilled hot dogs and other food items will be offered. As Always, admission is free! Can’t wait to see you at Hometown Christmas! Also, If you like to sing or play an instrument, bring along your voices and instruments--we'll be doing flash-mob caroling throughout the day!
