Explore Butte County (also known as the Butte County Tourism Business Improvement District) is proud and excited to present the 3rd Annual Butte County Restaurant Week that will take place over the course of 10 days, January 22-31, 2021. From farm-to-fork meals to delicious food and drink pairings, 22 restaurants are participating in the celebration that showcases the agriculture bounty of the region and the amazing culinary talents of Butte County restaurants and chefs. And, for those hungry for delicious meals at a value, each of the participating restaurants will offer a menu special for $20.21. To help keep the community safe, all Butte County Restaurant Week meals and specials are offered for take-out.
“Even during the stay-at-home order that has now been lifted, many of our incredible restaurants have been keeping their doors open to serve the community with plenty of take-out, curbside pick-up, and delivery options,” said Carolyn Denero, Explore Butte County Executive Director. “Our culinary community is a great point-of-pride for Butte County and Restaurant Week offers a wonderful opportunity to support them now when they need it most.”
“As a new business, we are excited to participate in our first Restaurant Week,” said Jordan Vogel, Operations Manager for Union Patio Bar & Grill. “We know how important restaurants are to the culture of a community and hope all of Butte County comes out to support their local eateries.”
While some are new in 2021, many of the participating local restaurants have participated multiple times and three have participated all three years of Butte County Restaurant Week, including: Almendra Winery & Distillery, Crush, and La Salles. While most offer lunch and dinner specials, three of the participating restaurants are offering a breakfast and/or brunch item as their special for 2021, including: Bellachino's Cafe, Gridley Grill & Crab Shack, and Sin of Cortez.
To add to the culinary experience, coveted gift card giveaways will be promoted on Explore Butte County social media channels over the course of the 10 days. Plus, diners are encouraged to rate their Restaurant Week meal specials to be entered into a drawing for four $50 restaurant gift cards (multiple entries are accepted, one per restaurant experience). The digital entry form will be available starting January 22 via the website.
The 2021 Butte County Restaurant Week is coordinated by Explore Butte County with partnership support from the Downtown Chico Business Association, Chico Chamber, Gridley Area Chamber, the Oroville Downtown Business Association, Oroville Area Chamber, and Paradise Ridge Chamber.
