2019 Point in Time Count
The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless persons on a single night . HUD requires that Continuums of Care (CoCs) conduct an annual count of homeless persons who are sheltered in emergency shelter, transitional housing, and who are living in places not meant for habitation.
We will be conducting surveys at the Hope Center and the Oroville Library.
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific
Hope Center and Oroville Library Oroville, Ca 95969
We will have volunteers meeting with people who are experiencing homelessness. The survey is conducted with the goal of helping provide better programs & services to people experiencing homelessness. The information gathered helps demonstrate a need for these programs which in turn helps the region get resources to address these needs.
